Art show

Saturday the girls came to visit. We had an art show using my white boards from when I taught school. The white boards save paper! AC told me that her art teacher said you can fill in by scribbling. It seems to work.

Ephesus

We docked at the modern port of Kusadasi, Turkey. Since the shoreline has moved six miles since Ephesus was a Roman city, we had to ride by bus to the ancient city. There are so many remains of Ephesus. It was quiet an overwelming afternoon.

Sail Away

After Patmos, we sailed to Ephesus. We sailed through the tiny strip of water that separates the island of Samos with mainland Turkey.

Patmos

Early Sunday morning we rode in boats from our ship to the isle of Patmos where John wrote Revelation. It is a very dry and rocky island. A water boat brings water to the people who live there every day.
