On Wednesday morning in Athens, our teaching was overlooking the Acropolis. Acts 17:16 says " his spirit was being provoked within him as he was observing the city full of idols." Today we look at them as history but it Paul's day they were being worshipped. After our teaching we went to the top of the Acropolis. It is amazing how much of the remains are still there. The rock picture is Mars Hill. The picture below is why I have to have a zoom cameral. This is a view of the waterfront in Athens which is a far distance from the Acropolis.
