Our last day in Jerusalem was our free day. Since our guides would not take us to Bethany, someone bought P a postcard because she really wanted to go there. F, M and I walked all the way from our hotel to the old city. It was such a wonderful walk since we went through a very Jewish part of the city. There was a market and people going about their daily lives. When we returned from our day of shopping in the old city, we went to the Jerusalem Museum to see the model of ancient Jerusalem and the Dead Sea scrolls. Tomorrow it is on to Egypt.
