We rode northeastward through some beautiful countryside to Mt Carmel. The statue represents Elijah calling down fire to consume the idols. The view from the mountain is the Jezreel Valley where the battle of Armageddon will be fought. It is a very lush valley that was covered in a haze the day we were there. The tomb was an example of what the tomb Jesus was buried in looked like.
