Christmas at Grannies

On the 28th, we all converged on Grannie's.  It is very difficult to get 10 greatgrands to cooperate for a picture.  Some were hidden from view, while others just didn't want to be a part of it.

Uncle Andy won the ugly sweater contest!

Since it was pouring down rain outside, we did not get the usual magnolia family picture but I was able to make each family individually.

Christmas at Hunta's

We celebrated Christmas on the 27th.  We spent the afternoon at the McWane center and celebrated family Christmas that night.

NC in Nov

I got to go visit with the NC fam to celebrate a belated birthday for Molly and Jeremy's 40th.  I got to help out with some of the projects and add some pansies to the kitchen window.  M enjoyed tying the sisters to a tree.

Uganda #2

Some of my favorite pictures from Africa. It is hard to go to the zoo after seeing the animals in their natural habitat.

Iglesia Bautista Cristo Nuestra Esperanza

After attending the early service at HSBC, I am blessed to be the SS teacher of these wonderful kids and a part of this growing church in Bessemer.

Monograms Plus

Since I no longer go to VA to work, I have been able to spend more time with this wonderful group of ladies. I am currently trying to diversify myself so that I can learn some new things.

Uganda Post 1

Two of the girls with me in this picture are the girls I sponsor through African Children's Mission.  It was a joy to get to meet them.

This is Sunday church African style.

One of the highlights of my trip was to get to spend time each day with this girls. We enjoyed reading the books Kelsey sent.

This is the team puppet show at the ranch school activity day.

B is one of the girls I sponsor.

As a math teacher, I am thankful for all the resourses that I was able to use.

These are the backpacks that the elves made.  We passed them out on activity day.

These bead ladies demonstrated how they make beads and fed us lunch.
