Here comes the bride

Saturday at 7 we were invited to a wedding at Galilee Church. After a long day at Chirihuasi finishing the marriage conference and childrens camp, we went back to Otavalo to change quickly and go to the wedding. Pedro and Ninta wanted to be married since they became Christians. It was a beautiful wedding even though I didn't understand a thing. Harry was one of the ministers who took part in the ceremony. Unfortunately, the singers came by bus 10 hours away and didn't make it to the ceremony. Since there wasn't a photographer there, Cris became the photographer. After the wedding was over, they made the couple's picture with lots of groups of people. They asked that the group from the US have their pictures with them. It was rather funny to us since only a few of us had met Pedro when he attended the first day of Ms Bobbie's session on teaching adolescents. Maybe only Amparito and Pablo had met Ninta. We all got to attend the reception at the community center. We had a sit down dinner. It was fun and the flowers were beautiful!
