Day one of VBS was a great success. There were 48 children present. The crown was a huge hit. Lots of jewels were added to their crowns. For lunch we had a genuine Chilean meal. N, whose house I sleep in, was in charge of the cooks. In the afternoon we prayer walked and visited in the home of one of the members. She sews and embroiders. She has four machines and her embroidery machine is just like mine at home.
We had over 50 in VBS today. Since it is Valentine's Day we had a love theme for crafts. I shared about my trip to WA with the children in the opening. They saw pictures of some of the cataract patients and heard about eyes that were open.
In the afternoon we went with the pastor to Aqua Life. The boys really had a wonderful time swimming.
