After seeing the Great Pyramid, we moved to a panoramic view of the Great Pyramid and the pyramid of the son and grandson. That is where we got on our camels. My camel's name was Columbus. After he stood up, I told the man holding the leash that I didn't think I wanted to ride it after all. He said he would take good care of me and then let go of the leash and started talking on his cell phone. He did come back and thankfully, Columbus just stood there. We rode around for about 10 minutes. When he sat down I thought I'd be dumped for sure but I wasn't. I feel the same way I felt about riding the elephant in Thailand, you only have to do it once!
