This view of the Sphinx is very impressive until you see him looking directly into Pizza Hut/KFC. All my life I thought they buried out of the city. Looks like the city came to them. Our next stop was two government souvenir shops. One had a lot of gold stuff and the other showed us how papyrus was made. At least the presentation was interesting.
