Modern Conveniencies

Our team was responsible for assembling a walk in cooler for the milk operation on the ranch. We are so thankful for the men who were able to do that. AHI students had a push mower to keep the Guest House lawn looking good. Maggie told them if they would keep the lawn with it for a year, she would consider getting a power mower. Since I have a mower like theirs, I tried to mow for them, but the big blade grass was too hard for me. Every time we walked to the school, we passed the Quicky Picky which was the Ugandan version of a 7/11. They sold Pepsi, Pepsi Light, Mountain Dew, Miranda Fruit drink and Stoneys. The Stoney was a ginger ale that burned all the way down to the stomach.
