Serving lunch

ACM feeds a balanced meal to about three thousand children each day. We were able to help serve at the ranch primary school. As we were waiting to serve the food, there was a group of younger students out under the tree. They were dancing in grass skirts, playing drums and singing. I thought it was a music class but found out later that they were practicing for a competition in Kakooge. The food is cooked in a building on the school grounds. There are huge pots on open fires. They cook rice, beans and greens. The plates were plastic so they have to wash them each day.Once we started serving over six hundred students, there was no time for pictures. The feeding went rather quickly but it was a hot job.
