When Paul left Philippi, he walked along the Egnatian Way which was the main road across Greece. He walked through Amphipolis and Apollonia on his way to Thessalonica. This is a lion that has been found in the ruins at Amphipolis. The distance from Philippi to Thessalonica was about 85 miles.
